According to the Greek mythology, Phaeton was the son of the sun god.
Phaeton, in order to prove his strength, drove his father's chariot but couldn’t handle the power of it, crashing the Earth on what nowadays we know as the Sahara Desert.
Mother Earth asked Zeus to strike the chariot with a thunder, in order to prevent more damages, causing the Fall of Phaeton and his death.
Despite he greatly failed, more greatly he dared.
